Our first night we are going to Downtown Disney and I was thinking we may go towards the Studios around 9 to watch the new fireworks show. Where woud be a good place to watch outside the park?

Figured that - thanks! I saw a video showing the fireworks outside the park and they looked really good. Can't figure out where they were standing but I think it was on the other side of water across from boat dock. Guess that is the walkway to resorts ( never have walked over that direction).

Yep, I haven't seen yet; but last year for the Friday 13th party at the studios it was such a zoo we left and were staying at the boardwalk villas. We watched from the sidewalk by the resort. Great view, but no music. I suppose you can walk up to the gates and not go in and see pretty good also. We watched the Star Wars fireworks from just inside the gates by the Main Street. Good enough view.
