Just wondering, how many days out can you cancel a paid reservation and get a refund?

45 days but according to their policy there could still be charges according to Disney's cancellation policy

I think the most you will ever be out is the $200 deposit.

The 45 day cancellation policy applies to packages. From days 2-44, there is a $200 fee for cancellation; and with 1 day notice, there is no refund though I suspect Disney would work with someone who had to cancel 1 day before to rebook instead of cancelling.

With room only reservations, you can cancel up to 5 days prior to arrival.

Thought I would mention that if you are needing to cancel because of a scheduling issue or work or whatever, you can reschedule the reservation for a later date without a fee. As others have mentioned, there is a $200 fee for cancellations inside of 45 days.

However any discounts you may have had, on rooms or free dining, can not be transferred. Aka, rack rate.

So yea, they will gladly rebook you. But it is still better than losing the entire cost of your trip.

I just called about this. You can cancel up to two days advance of showing up and you will lose your deposit ($200). If it is the day before you show up or something like that then you can reschedule your trip and put the money that you pay towards another one up until the end of next year is how I understood it.
