FP+ for parades w/ ECVs

There are 3 of us going in September, all handicapped, riding ECVs.
Do we need FP+ for parades? Or do they still have wheelchair areas?
This ne FP+ system has me, a veteran WDW traveler, a bit perplexed.

Next trip: 11/1 to 11/12. BLT

No, you don't have to have FP for the parades (the wheelchair location is still there)

I ask a similar question in another area and all said Don't waste a FP for Parades, Fireworks, and Attractions that have a separate "Accessible" Viewing Area, ie. FOTLK and American Idol.
