My family has 2 reservations that overlap each other as we are deciding if we want to split our vacation at 2 resorts. (One is 7 nights and the other is 4 nights that cover some of the same nights). We can make our FP reservations soon. Will the FP selections be canceled at all if we modify or 7 night stay down to 3 and do the 3/4 split? We weren't planning on making any decisions until closer to our arrival date but will if it will mess up the FP selections we are able to get for the trip. Any information would be appreciated! THANKS
No, they won't be cancelled. FP aren't tied to a resort reservation at all. Having a Disney resort reservation is what triggers the FP window to be opened at 60 days, but once they are made, they will remain - provided your tickets remain as well. It's your ticket that is the controlling factor, not the resort reservation.
YMMV, but that's the way its supposed to work.
