I know this has been asked before but I misplaced the answer.
We will be renting a car at MCO, and staying at Pop. Would like to stop at a grocery store to pick up a couple cases of water and possibly some snacks on the way to our resort. What would be the most convenient store on the way, that wouldn't be diverting too much from our route?

There is a Publix on 192 in Celebration. May be a little out of the way but it's still close by. Easy to get to and from the resorts.

.....during our last trip to POP we actually had a prescription for my daughter called in to a Walgreens that was located on our way. It was at 12650 International Drive South (Orlando) ...and they have snacks, water, etc (it's sorta' like a supermarket too) ...and they also had beer and wine. As I was leaving the parking lot I saw that right behind it was a Publix too.
....this was no more than a few minutes off of Rte 4 ...and was between MCO and POP.

There is a Super Walmart less than 10 minutes driving from Pop Century with bad traffic. You can stock up there on many things. You can even plan it a little bit that could save you lots of money. The Walmart has an entire section with Disney merchandise. The outlet mall is right there as well with a Disney Outlet Store. There is also a Publix in the same area I believe.
You could also look at options closer to MCO that are right off an exit. You can do a search for them. I don't think you'll have an issue finding one. It is just a matter of when and where you want to stop.
