Any tips for dealing with the January marathon? We have to go then because of my daughters work. We get there on the 2nd and leave on the 11th. Thanks in advance!
We've been there during the marathon, and it really isn't too bad at all! The only real impact is on marathon day itself, when transportation to Epcot is a challenge, and things are just generally slower around the parks. Disney does their best to work around it, and it is one day that I 100% recommend taking Disney transport, even if you usually drive around.
If you're staying at a Disney resort, they will put information in the rooms, so that is a help too.
There may bit a small jump in attendance, the families of those running, but otherwise, not much impact on the parks.
