I was supposed to go in May..we know what happened with that. Going sept 12-19, staying at boulder ridge for the first time. I am hoping parks will be like they were in late 90’s, early 2000’s. Remember the truely low season? It was the best!

Now that I cannot park hop, I am trying to plan how to do Hollywood Studios. Can anyone give me an idea how to use the boarding groups for Rise? Must you be in the park for the 10 am release? The park does not open till ten..do they consider the parking lot/line in or not?

Also, ihad heard somewhere that you couldnot leave the park and return that same day. i find this hard to believe.

Thanks for the help.

I believe you must be through the park turnstyles to get in the Rise of the Resistance queue. It used to not be like that, but I think they changed it.

I'll meet you at the Rainbow Bridge.

You definitely have to have scanned your park ticket to get in the virtual queue - which means you have to be inside the gates.

They allow you in the park prior to the time to get in the queue - but do not allow you to book a reservation until the set time.

As I understand it, you need to prepare for a long wait. Because of COVID, they are unlikely to be allowed to move freely, there will be restrictions. And if so, you need to be comfortably dressed and shod. My children have enough comfortable shoes, but I'm looking for options. I accidentally stumbled upon this article https://top-mom.com/best-running-shoes-for-kids/ , I thought about it. What about running shoes? I think that children will not stand quietly in queues, and sneakers seem to me to be great in such a situation. The legs will get tired less and there is less chance that in the middle of the walk there will be "mom, when will we leave?"

Is it necessary to get to the park really early and wait in line to be quick to get in on the app for ROTR? Thanks!

They have 2 distributions, 1 at 10 and 1 at 2. I think you’ll have 0 chance at the 10 distribution if you are not there right at 10.
