I know that you can link a credit card to your Magic Band to use for charging. We have 5 in our party, all staying in a villa at OKW. Can different bands be linked to different credit cards?

Indeed you can. We just did that with 3 people in our room, with each magic band linked to a different credit card.
Don't check in online, and when you get to the front desk, the CMs there will be able to link each band to a different credit card. No problem.
I'm not sure why you shouldn't check in online, but that's what I was told when I asked the question before a few weeks ago.
