We are going over Thanksgiving and have a question about luggage pickup. 2 people in our group are teachers and have to be back to teaching on Monday so they have a 9 p.m. flight Sunday night we have plans for all day Sunday including tickets to Mickeys Christmas party. They plan on going to that for 1-2 hours before getting the bus for airport. Question can they check bags early that morning for magical express? Will they hold their carry on at front desk or will they need to carry them n parks that whole day? Thank you

You can check bags fairly early in the day. In fact, the check-in for airline checked bags and participating airlines closes fairly early. Just be sure to check the hours at your resort.

They can have carry-ons stored at the resort. They just need to be sure to get back to the resort in enough time to have them retrieved from storage so they can bring them with them on the Magical Express bus.

You can check your bags anytime, but as Linda mentioned, the check-in desk is only open from 5am to 1pm. Bags have to be checked in at least 3 hours before your flight, and they are very strict on that.

In this case, checking the bags won't be an issue, but it will be critical to make sure they get back to the resort in time to collect any carry-on from bell services and be ready to board the bus 3 hours before the flight.

If their flight is at 9PM, the Magical Express will pick them up at 6:00 from their resort. I thought MVMCP did not start until 7? I know you could enter the park in the past at 4 for the party only, but I thought the party stuff still did not start until 7? Unless that has changed since the last time I went...

For your first question, your friends should check their bags before leaving the resort in the morning. Bags, Inc. will get them to the airport in time for their flight. Any carry on luggage can be stored at baggage check-in until they return from the parks for their DME pickup time.

It sounds like the MVMCP tickets are a waste for them. DME will pick them up for a 9pm flight right around 6pm, so they would have to leave MK at or around 5pm to make sure they are back at their/your resort on time. Since the actual "Party," and all its related events, doesn't start until 7pm, they will miss it in its entirety, even though they would be able to enter MK at 4pm.
