Thinking ahead to our trip in August, what has been people's experience using the Minnie vans? We're traveling with a group of 10, 4 of whom need car seats, so we know that we'd need 2 Minnie Vans in order to make it work.

1. What are the odds of getting 2 of them around the same time?
2. How long have people had to wait for Minnie vans to arrive once they've requested one?
3. How long would it take to travel by Minnie van from Kidani Village to Boardwalk?
4. How long would it take to travel by Minnie van from Kidani Village to DHS?

Thanks! :mickey:

We used the Minnie vans when we were there in January. Our first trip was very easy and convenient. Mid morning trip. We tried to use it again from the Contemporary after dinner but we were unable to get one. The app tried for 20 minutes before we just decided to use a taxi which cost us just a few cents more than the Minnie van. The night at the Contemporary another family was trying to get one too and not having any luck. SO my conclusion is that at non busy times of the day it is easy to get one. During peak hours that people are traveling to and from dinner and such it is more difficult. I am sure we will use it again during our trip in April.

UBER is much cheaper then the Minnie vans, but I am not sure about car seats. This was going from Contemporary to Beach Club. We tried to get a Minnie van and could not, so we UBER'd it, and I was surprised at how much cheaper it was.

The savings diminish if you need an UberXL (more than 4 people) and a car seat (not sure if you can even get an Uber with two car seats?) I don't have any experience with this- just from my own research on the app preparing for our trip.
