My Disney Experience conflict

I booked my 2017 vacation online through the My Disney Experience web site. When I log in, I can see my resort reservations, as well as days remaining until arrival.

But when I open the My Disney Experience App (either via phone or tablet,) they're not there. When I try to manually link my resort reservation to the app, I get the message "RESERVATION ALREADY LINKED TO ANOTHER ACCOUNT." Anyone else encounter this?

Yes my I phone did this twice now. Once it looked like I had multiple accounts, one on my PC and one on my phone, I called the help number and they fixed it. It was on Disney's end that time. The second they couldn't find an issue and suggested I power off my phone and power it back on, and it worked like a charm. Everything was there so second time it was my phone. Call the number it shows they're very helpful.

Yes, I had the exact same thing happen. I powered off my phone and back on and it was fixed.

I too had it happen, I signed out on my phone and signed back in and everything was as it should be.

Yep, the phone can be wonky. More than once I've had to logout, turn the phone off, and then start the whole thing again.

I've had similar things happen with adding notes via the website and then not showing up on the app. Re-booting the mobile device always fixes the problem.

Thank you all for your suggestions. Unfortunately, none of them worked. I was on technical support for more than an hour and they could not make the reservations show up on either my phone or my tablet. They do show up on the computer, though. She had to make a "technical note" for someone to address this conflict. This is unnerving. I know I have more than a year for the trip, but if my reservations don't show up on the My Disney Experience app while in the parks, the trip will be affected. I hope this gets corrected!

Have you tried deleting the app altogether on the affected devices, rebooting, then reinstalling? You may have to sign in the first time through, but that might get you where you want to (need to) be.

Essentially, the tech said I have two accounts: one for My Disney Experience and one for ESPN Fantasy Football games.

Despite the two accounts having two DIFFERENT logins, they share the same email address. Therefore, the web site, which I used to make my reservations, shows the room reservation. But both the iPhone App and the Samsung Tablet app believe the reservation is assigned to the ESPN login and the tech could not free it from it.

I had that problem and I deleted the iPhone app and re-installed. That fixed the problem. I might add that I also restarted my phone before re-installing the app.

We had this happen last year the first day we arrived. We made a couple of changes to dining and everything disappeared from our phones but we could see it online. I spent about a half hour at guest services and then once on the phone with tech services for about an hour and they fixed most of it but then we discovered another issue and had to call them again and was on the phone for another half hour. That was all after i had fought with it trying all the rebooting, deleting, reloading, etc for an hour or two. We basically spent most of the first afternoon there trying to get the stupid app to work. It is extremely frustrating having to deal with it.

I'm more than a year away from returning and I know panicking is premature, but I can just envision the exact same scenario happening to us when we arrive. With the tech on the phone we me, we deleted the app, turned off the phone, turned on the phone, and reinstalled the app. Didn't help. We changed passwords. Didn't help. We changed usernames. Didn't help. After an hour, she said she can't solve it at this time. She'll make a note for the techs and try calling back in a few weeks. In 372 days, I can just feel this is still going to be an issue!!!

I had that happen to me YEARS ago, before it all really mattered. I somehow ended up with a Disney site account and a Disney Movie Rewards account, both tied to the same email, and both only worked when they wanted to.

Some Disney person did some "magic" on the back-end, but it did take a few tries. They finally deleted one, leaving me with just one.
