We are leaving tomorrow morning for WDW. I accessed both the My Disney Experience App and website - both have crashed. No data - nothing. ADRs, FPs, friends list, resort reservations, you name it... Gone.
Hopefully this is just temporary, but has anyone experienced issues like this while on vacation? Just a little worries, particularly how Disney makes you start planning so far in advanced, that everything could be lost.

Well at least you're going to WDW tomorrow, where the worries of the outside world are a thing of the past!

Just after fastpass plus debuted, we took a trip to Disney World. We arrived to find that all my fastpass selections were intact but my husband's had disappeared and could not be retrieved. A Disney cast member at our resort sat in the lobby with us to recreate my fastpases for my husband (at least as closely as she was able) and had to change a couple of mine so that our fastpass times were overlap in a way that was doable for us. Hopefully, you won't have this issue and all your data will return when they get up and running again!!

I know this happens very seldomly, when you think about the hundreds of thousands of MDE accounts, but it is so worrisome when it does.
So often, I log in to find some ADRs missing, or a few times it won't load my entire reservation. Give it some time, and everything always comes back, but I hate the worry, and I print EVERYTHING out, so at least I'm sure that it was there at some point.

I do the same - print everything! If nothing else so I have the confirmation numbers for our ADRs, and to have a little old school back-up in case of a Disney tech disaster! :thumbsup:

Haven't had any problems with MDE. I've seen times when trying to book an ADR online, and it either didn't come up at all, or showed nothing available at all, anywhere (so it had to be a glitch). We called them and they could book us what we wanted.
I always go back to what happened when planning for our January trip. We had APs, and my sister's family had 8 day MYW w/ Park Hoppers. They could make FP+ ressies on that 8th day, and we couldn't. I called the AP help line, and they said to just go to Guest Services that morning (the 8th day), and "we'll make it right. We're Disney." So we trusted, and they did.

I have had that happen but my FP have always come back.
The other that will sometimes happen when the system goes down is it will not let you sign in at all and tell you that either your password is not correct or that you do not exist. It does not give you a message that the app/website is down. That happened to us for 2 hours in April. :(
