:confused:You know how the best laid plans never work out?Well due to bad unforeseen issues we cannot go to Disney World this Sept like we had planned unless the lotto fairy princess shows up at the door. So we already have money down and wondered what do families think of going in later April/early May? We will only have 8 days so its not hurricane months and its not 100 degrees yet during the day and its warm enough to use the pool. As others might have seen my posts this will probably be the only time our family of three will go so we need to make the most out of it everyday without making me the Clark Griswold of the family. Please I welcome all tips and suggestions. Thanks. Johnw. :mickey:

We used to go in May when the kids were small and we could pull them out of school. I loved going in the spring. Like you said, plenty warm enough to use the pools, but not uncomfortably hot. Our kids are graduating HS June 5 so we had to wait until June 11 to go down, if it were up to me I would have booked a May trip.

We love going at that time of the year! Went once in mid April and the other at the end of April going into May. The weather was gorgeous! Not too hot and not too cold.

We've been twice in mid May and loved it! Not too awful hot yet and crowds were definitely better than when we went in July/August. We're going late April this year. So excited! (49 more days!) Hope it works out for you Smile

Was there last April 30 - May 5 and it was marvelous! Temps were great during the day and dropped just enough to be cozy in the evenings. Pools were definitely in use.

Have you considered moving it to September of next year. Maybe some of the construction will be completed. The Flower and Garden Festival is nice, but I really prefer the Food & Wine Festival and the Halloween Party. I would wait another year and go the next September.

I'll meet you at the Rainbow Bridge.

Hello: We were thinking just rescheduling at the End of September/First week of October as looking at past years attendance around that time its not too crowded. Another thing I was think was with only 8 days available and being hurricane season I wanted to spend as much time in the parks and not in the room escaping the down pours. Johnw
