Orion Spacecraft launch Dec 4 7:05am

For those at Disney world this week you will be able to see the Launch of the Orion spacecraft on Thursday December 4 at 7:05AM. This is the replacement for the shuttle and will be the first unmanned launch to test everything out. Wish I was there to see as an early morning launch should be very visible.

Did anyone see it? I watched on NASA TV.


Many visits over 35+ years!

Stayed at: Bay Lake Tower, Polynesian, Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge, Boardwalk, Beach Club, Dolphin, PO Riverside, AS Sports, AS Movies, Saratoga, Vero Beach, Hilton Head, Aulani, Disneyland Hotel, and Grand Californian.

There were quite a few clouds to the east but there was a bit of a break higher in the sky where you could see it ascending and the glow of the flames from the rocket before it disappeared.

My wife was in Tampa for work but said it was to cloudy.
I have seen pictures from other people who were taking photos from their resorts. Lots of clouds but still managed to get some good photos before it went above the clouds.
