My annual pass expires in february. Should I renew now or wait with a risk of admission price increases before I go back in May? It saves about 100 dollars now, but it would not get used for 4 months.

Has anyone heard of price increases?

What would you do?

Disney typically does not give much warning ahead of when they will increase prices. It's hard to know when the next price increase will be.

That depends upon, mainly, how much use you will get out of it once you start going again. If you are going to get at least 12 - 15 days in the parks, even with the delay in first using it, then go for it. The savings now is worth it. If you wait, you may need to get a NEW AP at full price, whatever that is at the time. If you wait, you still will have the 30 days after your current pass expires to renew, so that may be an option as well.

I have sometimes had a few months lapse between when I renew my AP and when I actually start using it--a number of those times when I have visited Guest Relations to activate it, a nice CM does not back date it to my expiration date. I've never specifically asked for it; it just must be something they have discretion to do.

Just a heads up I have heard rumblings that AP prices are going up in a few weeks. Not sure if it is true. But thought I would throw it out there

Price increase was announced for “some” (read just about all) Annual Passes.
