Hey all,
I'm staying at the Swan this trip and I understand that I won't be getting a magic band because the Swan is not a "full" Disney hotel. I want to purchase one, though, because I think it'll be easier than bringing park tickets etc. I've been told that you can buy them pretty much anywhere... the gift shop of your resort for example. Can anyone confirm or deny this? I don't want to be wandering all over the place (wasting valuable park time!) looking for a place to buy one.

Yes, Magic Bands are pretty much in all of the gift shops. All of the big ones anyway.

So far this trip, I have yet to go in ANY gift shop, that they arent prominently taking up space. Even the new HM shop had special ones ($25). :mickey:

You could also save yourself the $12.95 by bringing two rubber bands and strapping your ticket to your wrist since that's basically all a magic band is. :thumbsup:
