I am a DVC member. We are planning on purchasing the AP gold pass for $545 that will be good for 13 months and then will purchase a separate AP water park pass for $115. It says we can do this until January 3, 2017 to get the $545 rate. My question is whether the AP would be active immediately or whether we could wait till we go August 2017 to activate it under this 13 month AP offer? Thanks.

If you purchase it now, you'll get a voucher that you will exchange when you get there. The voucher# can be linked to your Magic Band (that should happen automagically if you purchase the AP while logged in to your MDE account). When you get there in August, you'll need to go to any Guest Relations or ticket window to "activate" the pass. The expiration date of the pass should then be 13 months from that date.

The linked voucher # will allow you to make FP+ at the 60 day mark.

The annual pass will not be active until you use it for the first time I believe.
