A friend asked me if you can send grocery deliveries from Safeway and wanted it know if they will be accepted at Disney hotels. Does anyone know if this is possible? Apparently it’s supposed to be cheaper than Garden Grocer. Anyone know??

Yes, you can have groceries delivered. I would use Publix as I know they deliver with no problem

I didn't know Safeway still existed. They pulled out of the Houston market 25 years ago.

If anyone reading this thread will have a car on their vacation, you can also drive to Publix. There is one on the north side of 192, right before you get to 429. For reference it is about 5 miles from the All-Star resorts and takes about 15 minutes to get there in traffic.

Safeway owns Randalls.

I have heard that Instacart will deliver wine/beer but you need to be present to accept it. GG on the other hand will leave it with bell services and yes their prices have become obnoxious IMO.

Did anyone ever use Amazon Prime to have water/light snacks delivered and held until arrival? My son is travelling with friends in May and wanted to have items sent thru Amazon.....would the resort hold the package until they arrive?

If he/you are a prime member you might use Amazon Now which is offered using zip code 32830. Two hour delivery is free (you can add a tip if you'd like) and they will leave with bell services. So basically you can order while at your departure airport and it will be waiting at the resort. I've used the service a few times. If I remember there is a $25 minimum.

They will hold Amazon Prime orders but depending on the resort they may charge you. Just make sure you have your son's name and arrival date somewhere in the address field.
