I work in a school in CT. Staff return on 8/25 and kids on 8/27 this year. We've never started before the week before Labor Day in my district, so I booked a trip to the World before the calendar was released....I got really lucky because we come back 8/24...just means I'll be a little tired that first in-service day. I think some other schools in the area start 8/31.
