We are planning on going April 24-May 1. Currently there are no package deals out for this time. If I book through the Disney website and a deal comes out, am I still able to get the discounted price?

Actually, if you tell them to book your trip as a basic plan, they don't have to rebook when an offer comes along, they will just apply the discount to your reservation (if your room type is part of the promotion).
