I am trying to book a trip for a whole group of us, and because I am the Disney expert, I am in charge of everything. Our primary purpose of the trip is Star Wars Weekend and because we are working with so many people, I want to nail down our hotel dates ASAP. Would it be safe to say that 2016's Star Wars Weekend would start the weekend before Memorial Day? I'm hoping if so, that that weekend would be slightly less busy. Thanks so much!
Historically, Star Wars Weekends have been the last 2 weekends in May and the first two weekends in June. Occasionally, they've added a 5th weekend.
If they follow the historical norms, then SWW would be the weekends of 5/20, 5/27, 6/3 and 6/10 (those are all Fridays)
While Memorial Day weekend (5/27) will be very crowded, ALL SWW weekends are very heavily attended and the opening weekend may actually be the most crowded of them all.

We've been there the first weekend twice....crazy busy, the weekend after memorial day was much better crowd wise....will be gals to miss all weekend in 2016 ... Kids want to go to the Halloween party, which means missing school in September, but what the heck:cloud9:

Thanks so much for the speedy reply! Ive been to SWW 2x, once on accident and one time over memorial day. Theyre just so much fun, and now our whole group of friends insists on coming.
