My 21 y/o DD has an opportunity to go to Japan for a 12 day cultural experience. We are seriously thinking about extending her trip by a few days so she can go to the resort. I welcome any and all advice, this is a a "whole new World" for her. Her college professor will be preparing her culturally, but she will be on her own for her Disney days. Thanks in advance.

My absolute favorite WDW blog is called "Disney Tourist Blog". I believe they have several great blog posts about Tokyo Disney...and if I'm remembering correctly, its one of their favorite parks and they have lots of good info. We have friends that go regularly and love it.

How exciting! My daughter did an exchange trip to Korea a few months ago, and she loved it, it was the most amazing experience.
I'd extend the trip, especially if it is more of a "one-in-a-lifetime" trip to Japan. Is there any way another person may want to join her for the days at the parks? It could be fun to have someone else along.
