I have an unexpired park ticket (7 day park hopper) from years and years ago....long before wrist bands were ever thought of. How would I go about putting that ticket on my wrist band? Can I do it prior to my trip or would I have to go to guest services when I get there?
we added ours 2 years ago, If I remember correctly, on mydisneyexperience, add a ticket, you should have numbers on your old ticket. I know we did it before heading to wdw, either online or on the phone.
Disney more times than I can remember.
Have stayed at Fort Wilderness, Fort Wilderness Cabins, Caribbean Beach, Dixie Landings, Port Orleans Riverside, Port Orleans French Quarter and Pop Century
You should be able to link the ticket to your My Disney Experience. If you have problems I would call technical support at 407-939-7765 option #3.

If your ticket is pre 2007 you will need to call guest services at (407) 939-4357. If it is 2007 or newer you can add it on MDE>Reservations & Tickets>Add a ticket.

I just tried to add a ticket bought in 2011 and it wouldn't let me.

What kind of a response did you get? Try scrolling through the ticket choices again to make sure you're using the right set. Could it have been 2010, in that case you would need to try "add an older ticket".

I know we bought them in 2011 because I still have the paperwork, but it's the ticket type that most closely resembles the last option on the "link an older ticket from 2007-2010" page. It's not old at all, so I was surprised that I couldn't add it.
