The weather during my daughter's trip at the end of the week looks warm, but she will be in the parks all day. Will she need a light jacket for after dark? She wants to wear tank tops and not carry a jacket around all day. The weather report looks like highs in the mid-eighties, chance of storms a couple of days. We've always gone in the summer before, when it NEVER cools off!
First trip: 1992 with sister, last trip 2018 with grandchild, not done yet!
When we were there April 3-10 we had beautiful, sunny, warm weather and my DD18 wore a light/thin (not fleece) zip up sweatshirt in the evening. She wore tanks during the day and we had it rolled up tight in our bag just in case. Also, if you get sun burned, you tend to get a chill when the sun goes down. As a mom, I always say better to have it and not use it, than to not have it and need it.
Hope she has a great time!
Tank tops might be a little cool in the evening, but not too much. I don't think she'll need a jacket. She might want a sweater just in case, but I seriously doubt she'll need it this week.
