Has anyone stayed in the Pioneer cabins at the North Rim? I got lucky with a last minute reservation for this weekend and wondering what I'll need to bring. I'm at work so I can't make any calls until I got off but just wanted ask if anyone had experience with them! I just love love love the Grand Canyon and it will be my first time going to the North Rim! So excited I was able to get lucky with this reservation!
It will be much cooler there than on the South Rim. The North Rim has only been open a few weeks. It's also much less congested there. Never stayed at those cabins, but most in National Parks are very bare bones.

Thanks.... we live in the desert and its already been up into the 90's so were looking forward to the cooler temps!
