I just realized that the last time I was in DisneyWorld was 2018! Lots of changes since then undoubtably. I think that If were to return, I'd stay at Shades of Green.

End of April 2023. Headed back late September this year, and again early December of this year. Staying at Coronado Springs for the first time, for both trips.

Last (only) visit to DisneyLand was December 2015. Stayed at, what was then, Paradise Pier. At that time you could still walk through the Grand Californian Lodge to get to Downtown Disney and then to the park gates.

We have stayed there before as well. We liked it! Of course that was before they built the Gran Destino Tower! Did you get to stay in the Tower?

My stay at Coronado Springs is still upcoming, but I am booked in "The Villages" so The Tower will be something to visit, but not stay at this time around.

I went on an unplanned Disney sabbatical after my 2019 trip and didn't return until this year.  Life, COVID, crowds, and COSTS all kept me away.  In 2025 I have dramatically shortened my stays and did only 1 TS meal, and the costs were still...... lets say painful!  I actually did 3 days in January and 1 day only in June (high school graduation gift for a son's GF) and I dream of getting back in groove of regular visits, but then I add the receipts up and strike that for now!

Coming up... ???
25 Jun CR Garden (1 day)
25 Jan Pop (MLK weekend)
19 May Disney Dream, Nov Pop
18 Oct ASMv
17 Jan POFQ (10k!)
16 (APs) Jan POR, Feb CSR, April ASMv, June BC, Oct Pop & Cabins, Dec ASMv & AKL & Pop
15 May Pop & CBR pirates
13 Oct ASMu & AoA
10 (APs) June CR, Oct AKL & Pop, Dec Pop
07 March ASMv
04 June POR
94 June Dixie Landings (I think)

I didn't realize it has been as long as it has until I saw this thread and looked it up. It was early 2022 and I only made it to WDW for one day while I was down in Orlando for a convention. We stayed at Universal Portifino Bay and visited their parks a couple of days. The last time we went to Disneyland in California was 2021. We added a few days to our trip to Europe in late 2023 and went to Disneyland Paris. I couldn't go to Paris and not make time to see their Disneyland while I was there. Currently still do not have any plans to go to WDW other than maybe another quick day or two if we go down for a convention next year.

I am another one of those that used to go at least once every year and sometimes twice and occasionally maybe even a third time for just a quick day or two even though it is about a 10 hour drive to Orlando. I really thought I would visit regularly at least once a year and almost bought a DVC membership. All the changes and the exorbitant price increases have unfortunately made me consider other types of vacations. We look at WDW reservations and click through and see the price and then we usually say well for that kind of money we could go to XYZ instead and end up going elsewhere. It's all good though. I have travelled over a good bit of the US and seen a lot and gone to Europe a few times. I do miss my favorite rides though.

Yeah, I suspected this. Sounds like we’re pretty much in the same boat. Keep the replies coming!

Last time I went to Disney World was September 2024. Heading back September 2025, but not doing the theme parks. Just staying on premises.

We went a few times during the 2021 Summer of Love (Covid) right after they opened.  It was almost deserted and half the hotels were still closed.  Plus we lost our reservation at the chef's table at Victoria and Alberts for our anniversary.  Nevertheless, they were good trips except for the masks.  We've since become Universal APs because my teenage daughter thinks she is too old for Disney (silly girl - you're never too old).

My daughter and I were there in August 2023 for her graduation trip (that was an easy sell "Mom - can we go to Disney for my graduation (she's a nurse) instead of a party and presents). DH hasn't been since 2019, but he an I are going back for my birthday in November. I figured I'm the only immediate family member who hasn't been for my birthday, so it is my turn.

(our funny family story ... we were there when Galaxy's Edge opened, we have the opening day picture, but we didn't set foot in the area since my daughter wasn't with us due to school and she insisted that Star Wars is a whole family thing. We all thought we'd just go in 2020 ... and we all know how that turned out).
