I'm' sitting here watching this news conference with my jaws hung open. I have got to run, but I'll come back and post more later, but thought it would be interesting to look back at the soap opera that started at Tennessee on November 3, 2008 and what some Intercotees posted in the past.

I'm not a Tennessee fan, but I also thought Phil Fulmer got done wrong back in 2008. Now, 9 years later, and after the most screwed up attempt to get a new coach I've ever heard of, Fulmer gets the reins back and has the job of getting UT's program out of the ditch. Heck it's worse than a ditch, they're at the bottom of a ravine. They waited way too long to fire Butch Jones, and then screwed the proverbial pooch trying to hire his replacement. Fulmer may have to coach the team himself before they can get another decent coach to take over.

It is a dumpster fire that they can't seem to put out. lol What a mess.
I think with so many misteps, and the power struggle at the top UT is going to have a hard time getting any proven coach to take the job. I think joonyer is right, Fulmer might have to coach them again to get out of the hole they have dug.
