To those in the path of Hurricane Florence, stay safe. It was one year ago today that I rode out hurricane Irma. I was lucky, had power the whole time, and my manufactured house was still there afterwards. Stock up in your supplies. I couldn't get bottled water so I filled up some pitchers.

Our fearless leader, John, is pretty much dead center in the path of old Flo'. I read this morning that most of the Carolinas coast has a mandatory evacuation order. Looks like Hilton Head could get slammed pretty bad. I think maybe the Yaglenski family needs to take an unplanned Disney vacation quickly! Luck to all in Florence's path!

Just what I was about to post! Talk about a Baptism by fire for John to be staring down a Cat4+ in his first year or so on the coast. Best of luck to him and everyone as they batten down the hatches.

Logged in to DVC website to check on some upcoming vacation stuff, a message was posted that Hilton Head resort is closed until Monday, Sept. 17th due to the impending storm.

WDW just updated DVC website, HH will now be closed thru Wed, Sept. 19th.
