We are going to be staying at Pop again this August and would like a room in the back, across from Art of Animation. Would that be a preferred room? Does anyone have any knowledge on this?

No that's usually not a preferred location. Just request a "lake view" on your preferences when you do online check-in.

I request the back side of the 60's on an upper floor, rooms in 4000, which faces AOA. This is not a preferred room. I like this side because you can see the fireworks at night. Our up coming trip will be our third time requesting that location.
If you are on the other side rooms 5000 facing AOA you have nicer view of AOA but not necessarily the fireworks.
