Has anyone used Priceline in hopes of getting a Disney resort? Tips? Tricks? Problems?

Are you planning on using a "secret" hotel? I think the most common one to show up at a saving is the Swan/Dolphin, but you have to compare amenities.

I've never used Priceline but have used Orbitz or Hotels.com. You have to look for the %off code on their site - Orbitz generally always has it but Hotels sometimes doesn't and they are Disney hotels. Savings are generally up to 15% (depending on the hotel).

We used cheaptickets last winter. Used a 16% off code, plus it was with a disney advertised room only special-so took 16% off the special rate. this does not get you a package, room only, but not bad.

Disney more times than I can remember.
Have stayed at Fort Wilderness, Fort Wilderness Cabins, Caribbean Beach, Dixie Landings, Port Orleans Riverside, Port Orleans French Quarter and Pop Century
