My family is booking a trip to Disney for dec 2018. . Everyone else ordered it earlier than I did. I just ordered yesterday. They were sent magic bands that were white and had all the parks on them. I called disney and they said they booked it by dec 1st and we had to book by dec 1. Disney sends them so they can put under the tree. My son and I are going and since I booked it after dec 1 I can’t get one, my son is going to feel terrible as his cousins open up their package. I feel like a terrible dad as I didn’t book the trip in time. Does anybody know where I could buy those?

Try eBay. Some people who have received them may try to make a buck off them.
It would have been nice if Disney would have released them for purchase after the date expired. Those who booked on time would still get them for free, but those who didn't and really want them would still have the option to pay for them. It doesn't look like that is an option tho, unfortunately.

You can buy Magic Bands from the Disney store site. They won't be exactly the same as the others are getting, but Magic Bands all the same! They have a good selection, so you could pick his favourite character, which he'd probably like even more.

Yep, the special ones that came with the holiday package are going for $99 and up on eBay!
Like the previous poster said check out the shopdisney site and pick out one he would like for around $20-25 instead.

Not so sure about this as bands are non-transferable.

Okay I see now, they're selling the band but you need to switch out the icon in order to make it work with your account. At least they're disclosing that the band cannot be linked as is. BTW, the one I found is selling for $138 :jaw:
