Hello all. Quick ? Here. Have a trip scheduled for jan 9th for 6/7 days. With final payment date due on 25 nov and a unexpected medical cost taking away from available funds to pay trip cost. In order to keep the dates at same resort as there was no availability at a later date at same resort what might be possible options? Can I do a one night reservation, and a one day pass for each person in our group of seven. What changes could I make. Thanks for any help or thoughts.:mickey: possible 6 night room only same dates, with one day ticket and just pay room deposit and ticket (1 day) and the in couple of weeks buy rest of tickets and pay for room later or on arrival? Your best bet would be to contact the person you made the reservations with. If the resort is now booked you may not have many options. Reducing the number of days on the ticket would save you money but you would not be able to take advantage of FP+ other than the one day.
If you're willing to switch resorts there may be a room only discount you could get which would not require final payment until arrival. You're traveling during marathon weekend so discounts may be hard to come by.

It sounds like you are on a package? You might be able to change to a "room only" reservation and buy your tickets when you get there. A "room only" balance isn't due until arrival. As suggested in an earlier post, I would contact your travel agent or if you booked yourself, I would contact Magical Journeys to assist with any changes.

I also was thinking that you could change your reservation to Room only and they adjust back to a package when the funds are available. Definately pick up the phone and talk to either your Travel Agent or WDW reservations. They might be able to work with you.
