I called to see if I could get a microwave in our room because I was under the impression it was by request only. I was told there is a microwave in every room. Is this new? I'm hoping it was correct information

That has never been the case. The people you call don't always have a clue. I would simply request it upon check in. There is also a microwave for guest use at the BC Marketplace.
