Something that really shocked me when I was there last week.

On Thursday, we decided to go to BOG for lunch to maximize our dining plan and because it is a darn good place to go for lunch.

We were in line at 10:30 when it opened. There was a decent sized line when we got into it and it took us about 15 or so minutes to get into the restaurant.

When we left it at 11:30 AM, there was a sign out saying the seating for BOG had reach capacity for the day.

I found this rather surprising since the park was at the lowest crowds I have seen in a very long time.

So, just a word of caution, even on slow park days, if you want to eat here and don't have those BOG Fast Passes, get into line when it opens to get a chance to eat there.

That's true, but you still havea fair chance of getting a table by showing up about 45 minutes before lunch officially ends. It frequently thins out by then and walkups are seated just as fast as fp's.

They were not accepting walk-ups when we were there the last week of August. As RBrooks said, they had a sign out from that says full for the day. They were handing out paper fp earlier in the day and when they were gone that was it.

That was our experience in August too. There were some paper FP's, and when they were gone that was it, no walk-ups.

The CM I spoke to said some days it is FP+ only!

WOW, that's surprising and disappointing. Another major disadvantage for the off-site/1 day park guest.

We were really hoping to see this during our 1 day visit at the end of the month. Hopefully, that won't be one of the FP+ only days. I know crowds are light but the free dining offer is in full-swing and I expect full crowds at the restaurants. Lining up at 10:30am for lunch seems like punishment enough.
