My family will be taking the 4-day cruise to the Bahamas in August. I'm looking for recommendations on the excursions available for Nassau.
Also, is there anyone who went on one of the excursions offered but didn't book it through the cruise line. (I know that they can be a bit cheaper if booked directly.)

Bahamas is a day at sea for us.
Last time, we did walk out to the nearby shops and got something at Starbucks, but the rest of the island isn't worth spending much money on.
Honestly, on a 4 day cruise, you'll want more time on the ship, so I would seriously consider this option. You'll be surprised how many people do the same thing. There must be a reason!
The two times we were on the Bahamas cruise, we took a cab to the casino at the Atlantis resort.
