Hi all!
I'm taking a 4 day cruise on the Disney Fantasy 10/31 to 11/04, and I had a question about passports.
I have a passport, but my traveling companion doesn't. She's applying for one but I read somewhere that you have to have your passport info entered into the system 75 days before the cruise. My questions are:
1.) Can anyone confirm this?
2.) If she is issued a passport after that timeframe can she still use it?
3.) Failing that, what other forms of ID can she bring in lieu of a passport?
Many thanks in advance for your help, this will be my and her first cruise, and is part of a land/sea package, we're going to spend 7 days at WDW after the cruise so I'm super excited...
You are sailing from the US and returning to the US. All that's required is an official birth certificate. No copies. Passports are preferred in case there is an emergency, but not required if you are a US citizen.

You can enter the info 75 days prior, but I'm pretty sure you can update it up to a few weeks before the cruise. My little one just got a new passport and we changed his info about a week or two before the trip. No questions asked at check-in...
The Fantasy is doing a 4 day cruise? Usually it's the Dream that does the shorter cruises.

You're absolutely right, it is the Dream, I guess I was having a brainfart. Between work and planning the wedding it's been nuts.
Thanks for your help!
