Any one have any luck going to the water parks just in the afternoon? We are going in July and the water parks are open late (8 pm), and we are having trouble fitting in a water park day. I was thinking we might go in the afternoon after a morning at AK. Just wondering if the crowds are still big after say 3 or so. We got there at park opening 2 years ago in July and it was packed already. Thanks.:mickey: :mickey:

We did this at Typhoon Lagoon a couple of years back. The park really started clearing out at about 3:30. Everything except the water coaster had no wait.

It really does start to clear out as the afternoon goes on. We found our last hour or so was EMPTY!
A foil in this plan can be the afternoon thunderstorms, but if you arrive right after, it will be particularity quiet.
