Memory Maker Photopass

I think I see what you are talking about, but I believe you are reading it a little differently than what is written.....

Purchasing the Memory Maker at discount means that you cannot use it for 3 days. If you are within 3 days of your visit and want to be able to use the Memory Maker immediately, you need to pay full price.

Since you are well outside the 3 day window, purchase it now, at the $30 discount and you will be good to go as soon as you arrive.

Important Details

Memory Maker Waiting Period
If Memory Maker is purchased at the advance purchase price, any photos taken within 3 days of the date Memory Maker is purchased are not included and must be purchased separately.

Memory Maker Is Accessed Online
If you’re signed in when you purchase Memory Maker, it can be accessed by visiting Disney PhotoPass. If you’re not signed in, you’ll first need to claim your Memory Maker by visiting My Disney Experience.

Download Family & Friends Photos
You can not only download your own Disney PhotoPass photos, but also those of Family & Friends who share media with you. So with just one purchase of Memory Maker, you could get all the Disney PhotoPass photos of everyone in your travel party.

Three days from date of purchase - so you will be well with in your travel time to purchase now as you are 30 days out. What the $30 extra does is rush the processing on to your magic band so you can purchase at the last minute and still get ALL your pictures from your trip.
