We leave for WDW on April 27th. We are actually flying out of Chicago and are staying overnight in a hotel the night before we fly out. The cast includes myself, my boyfriend Thom, and my two daughters Madeline-11 and Lily-8. This trip is actually for Lily's birthday which is on April 24th. This trip will be exciting since it is the first time to Disney for everyone except myself. This, in a way makes it feel like my first time as well.
I have spent the past several months planning and re-planning our trip, hoping it will be as perfect as it should be. I'm not sure I love the new fastpass system as I feel it forces you to commit to a certain time for a certain ride and that is hard for me since I know that with children, things can change on a dime. I will roll with the punches and hope it turns out better than I'm anticipating it will. The trip will be magical either way because I will be in Disney, and with my princesses.
Here are our plans:
April 27- Arrive in Orlando around 2:30 p.m. Take ME to Art of Animation (finding Nemo suite!). We will get settled then head to MK. Plan to eat at Columbia Harbor House then have FP+ for Haunted Mansion, 7 Dwarfs Mine Train and Space Mt.
April 28th: Animal Kingdom in morning. FP for Kiliminjaro Safari, Kali River Rapids, and Exp. Everest. Then back to MK for ADR at Be our Guest! Can't wait for this one as Beauty & The Beast is my DD-11 favorite Disney princess movie.
April 29th: Hollywood Studios today. FP+ for Star Tours (never done this; BF loves Star Wars), TSMM, and ToT (My FAVORITE ride). Hoping my DDs like this ride...they like rides but have never ridden one quite like this. We shall see. Hoping they don't  ADR for lunch at 50's Prime Time. May try to ride RNRC and Muppets in the afternoon. In the evening we will either swim at the hotel or head Downtown.
April 30: ADR at Ohana for breakfast. Then to Epcot. FP+ for The Seas w/Nemo, Soarin', and Spaceship Earth. Hope to get on TT, and Gran Fiesta Tour also.
May 1: Want to be at MK for opening. I have never gotten to experience this and am determined to on this trip. We have FP+ for BTMRR, Peter Pan's Flight, and a meet & greet with Mickey. DD want to get lots of autographs on this trip. We will then head to Epcot for ADR at Coral Reef. Hope to ride some rides we may have missed on the previous day.
May 2nd: ADR for breakfast at Chef Mickey. Plan to head to either AK or Hollywood Studios to ride rides we missed or loved. Then to MK for our final night in the parks. FP+ for meeting Anna and Elsa (DD-8 favorite movie), 7 Dwarf's Mine train and BTMRR. There are extra magic hours this night so we may stay depending on how tired we are.
Those are our plans. I realize that they may change since as I said before, things with children can't always be planned to a tee. I made sure to leave time in each day to just do whatever we feel like doing depending on how everyone is feeling. I want the girls to have fun and not feel like we are on a schedule with the parks and rides at all times. I will post trip report when we return. :mickey: :cloud9:
