I should title this post "or that time I fell out of a cab" but I didn't really want to give anyone the wrong idea. But we'll get to that.
So another fairly early morning, I just can't seem to sleep past 6:30am even though we really don't have any early morning plans on any of our days. Today was a Tuesday and I have FP+ in the Magic Kingdom. Morning was just about the same, strolling the grounds at sunrise, having some coffee and I used a snack credit for a pastry from Roaring Fork (it was pretty tasty.) But today we were boating over so I made sure we were on the boat dock by about 8:20am. The line for the MK boat was REALLY REALLY long but there was a boat to Contemp and FW just arriving so we hopped on that one, cruised to the Contemporary and walked to MK, easy peasy! We arrived just as a ferry let out so there was a bit of a wait for bag check but we were still inside the park before 9am and they had already opened everything up (probably about 20 mins early) That kind of thwarted my plan to hit Peter Pan right off the bat, I knew the line would be long already and I also knew even though it is one of my favorites that LVP just wouldn't care so we headed to Adventureland instead and hit Pirates and Jungle Cruise.
Both were a walk on and great as usual. We had a FP for 10am at 7DMT so we headed towards Fantastyland and hit the Haunted Mansion on the way, also a walk on. We also did It's A Small World (a required ride) before our first spin on the Mine Train. We considered a spin on Pooh but the line was 30 mins and again just not something LVP would like so we actually headed back at hit Haunted Mansion again while waiting for Columbia Harbor House to open at 11am (since we don't eat breakfast we usually try to have an early lunch.)
Lunch was Fish and Chips for him, a lobster roll for me, which came with Chips so I was able to sub dessert for a side of fries and LVP was able to sub dessert for a side of slaw (yeah Columbia Harbor House!) It was tasty and getting busy when we left. We headed out towards Frontierland and had fastpass for both Splash Mtn and Big Thunder Mtn. and caught a showing of Country Bears in between. We took a trip on the Riverboat and then hightailed it out of MK by around 2pm (people were already lined up for the parade.) I know it was early to bail but I was trying to keep things low key and we had FP+ for another day for lots of Tomorrowland rides.
We boated straight back to the WL and enjoyed some cocktails and down time. We hit the pool for an hour or so and I made LVP do the slide with me a few times, much quieter than on Saturday afternoon. We had late ADRs for San Angel Inn so we headed back to Epcot via the boat to Contemp, the Monorail to TTC and then the Monorail to Epcot since we had plenty of time. We hit a few rides in Epcot after first arriving (maybe single rider TT and Mission Space?) Then we headed out to World Showcase for some margaritas and a meet up with our very own Christine! I appreciate her making a special trip out to meet me and I hope I was only slightly buzzed and she forgives me for talking her ear off. We enjoyed a ride on the Mexico ride and some margaritas out on the side terrace at the Mexico Pavilion before we made our way inside for 8:45 ADRs at San Angel.
We were seated fairly quickly but as others have mentioned it is really really dark in here. Again we were told no substitutions for the dessert on the dining plan (grrrrrr). I know that it shouldn't bother me but I was letting this tick me off every night at dinner. We ended up just ordering entrees I think I had the combo and LVP tried a steak again (he just wouldn't learn.) Neither entree was great and our server (again because of the dining plan question?) was just flat out a jerk. Like really, a jerk. It was just a bummer of a dinner and we couldn't wait to get out of there.
It was past closing but a good many people were still milling around. We made our way to the front, stopping for some kind of bad photopass pictures and headed to the bus stop, which again was PACKED. We grabbed a cab again, this time it was a van and we made sure he wasn't going to try to recruit other riders but he said no so we "sped" like really sped, back to the WL. We got back and it was just starting to rain (good timing huh?) and I stepped out of the van onto the slippery little metal step and whammo. Fell flat out of the cab. Knees to the ground. Looking around to see if anyone saw and pretty much only like 50 people saw it. Shakes head.
I did a walk of shame to the room.

Goodness, I hope you weren't hurt when you fell!!
Your dining doesn't seem to be working out too well. I'm really sorry to hear that!

Sounds like you're enjoying your time ... generally. The dessert thing would bum me too, just because I would have been expecting it.
I'm glad your fall wasn't worse, nor caught on tape. I fell in a puddle at Epcot one and a MILLION people saw it ... not my best Disney moment.

Your dining experiences have been TERRIBLE! So sorry. And, yes, I hope you were not hurt...although I know it is SO embarrassing to fall.
