Today is our day for Disney Studios. We head directly there and stop for a bite to eat at Starring Rolls Bakery. I have a bagel with cream cheese while spouse has a blueberry muffin and we each have a coffee.

There are constructions walls up in a variety of areas. We have a few fastpasses but end up using only one of them. We had one for Star Tours and decided not to go on this ride so cancel it. We do go on the Great Movie Ride, use our fastpass for Toy Story Mania, and go to the Muppets show. Our other fastpass was for The Little Mermaid but we decide to leave the park so cancel that one.

We take the boat to the Swan/Dolphin stop and hop on a bus to Downtown Disney. Once there, we get some lunch at Earl of Sandwich and then wander around. There is still a lot of construction going on throughout the area. We notice Fulton's Crab House is no more and is being reworked to become Paddlefish later this year.

Our bus rolls up just after we arrive back at the bus stop so we are quickly back at Bay Lake Tower. We head down to the pool for a couple of hours and then return to shower and change for dinner.

Our dinner tonight will be at Artist Point. On our way through the lobby and to the boat dock, we walk by a couple of people in the lobby. Just as we get out the door, spouse asks if the folks in the lobby aren't Intercot's Mikki and her husband. I turn around and go back into the lobby. Sure enough, it is Mikki and Andrew!! We chat for a few minutes but need to get to our reservation so can't spend very long. Still, it was nice to see them if only so briefly!!

The boat arrives at the dock almost at the same time as we do and we are quickly deposited on the dock at Wilderness Lodge. It's clear there's a fair amount of construction going on here as well. A number of trees have been cleared in one area. A structure is being erected along the beach area and another area of the property has been cleared.

We are immediately seated for dinner and find the restaurant is largely empty. We are seated at a window table and are told we have a great view of nature. Our view consists of a barren balcony with a spindly pine tree on the other side of the balcony along with the tops of the waterfall rock feature - not exactly what I'd call a wonderful view. Oh well. Dinner is good. I have scallops and spouse a filet mignon. After dinner, we return to the Contemporary on the boat and settle in at "home" for the evening. We watch the fireworks through our window while listening to the music on our television.

We are headed to WL in Sept, we know there will be construction but hope it's still nice, it's just our favorite resort and for the price we just didn't want to swap even with all that is going on...
