I'm brand new to this site and looking for some advice. I will be coming with my two teens in mid-March. We have two days at Magic Kingdom, and one day each at the other parks. Should I get the lightning lane multipasses for us? The lines at Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom look especially long. We are NOT staying at a Disney resort, so I can buy the passes 3 days ahead instead of 7. Will there still be good availability, or is much already taken by the resort guests? They say you can book another one once you have used one--if there are times still open. Does that happen often?
I have to say this pay per person per day system--which doesn't even include the most popular rides--feels like one more money grab! Last time I was there about 10 years ago, this was already included in the price for everyone, and you could keep requesting more over the day. Guess those days are long gone. :-(
It is an extra expense, but you don’t have to pay for it before seeing the availability. That is a busy time of the year with spring breaks. I’d suggest if you can see any of the busier attractions available, it may be worth it. Especially, if they are attractions your teens really want to experience.
I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way.
I haven't been in a while, (so don't really have current info,) but fast passes used to be essential and I would imagine we would need the lightening passes now. I agree that it is such a money grab. That's why I haven't returned in a long time.
