Our family is considering spending a few days next month at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek. We will not be getting park passes. Besides DD, what else may there be to go on Disney property. We may try mini golf and a character meal. How much access will we have to any of the resorts? We are Also DVC members but obviously not staying using our membership.

I hear nothing but good things about that resort. The lazy river is supposed to be a lot of fun!

Besides DTD you can take a ride to Universal's City Walk. They have restaurants, shopping, mini golf, a movie theater, night clubs, the Blue Man Group etc

You can visit any of the Disney resorts for dining or to look around their grounds but swimming pools would not be available for your use.

I'm not familiar with anything around Universal. But we will have our car, we may check out the city walk! Is that like a DD equivalent?

It is - there are a number of restaurants and shops in the area. More information on what's there can be found here.

The parking garage is still quite a distance away so can be a bit of a hike.
