We will be at WDW on Easter Sunday next year. Is there anything special for the Easter holiday - parades, shows, fireworks, meals, etc that I should know about? I've not heard of anything before, but figured if there was something, this is the group that would know!

We were at WDW on Easter Sunday this past year and I know each resort had a specific schedule for an egg hunt and activities. We visited the GF to view their display of beautiful Easter Eggs made by the pastry chefs that they had in the lobby. Can't help you with the parks as far as shows/parades because we chose this day as a non-park day. After visiting at this time before, certain parks (MK) have closed due to full capacity and it isn't enjoyable with the crowds.

Hope you enjoy your planning.

Not so much any more. After they discontinued doing the Easter themed parade, they used to add a couple of Easter themed floats to the regular parade but I'm not sure if they still do that or not.

They have had a meet and greet with the Easter Bunny, special menus at some restaurants, and on-site religious services. I'm not sure what will be scheduled for 2016 but I suspect it will be along these same lines.

I love finding the special character eggs around the World Showcase - Eggstravaganza.

They had the religious service offered at the Contemporary this past year...If I remember correctly one was at around 8am and another around 10am. They asked you didn't bring cars to park and to use other transportation options, ie: monorial, buses etc.

Thanks everyone for the posts!

Glad to see we can get to a religious service without too much hassle that morning.

Has anyone done the EPCOT egg hunt? That sounds like fun for the kids. A little worried of how crazy busy that will be. Hoping most people are over in MK that day. Any thoughts?
