We leave for Disneyworld on Tuesday June 19 and my 8yr old daughter just broke her arm yesterday. Was curious if the characters would be able to sign her cast. Also has anyone had this happen and we’re you able to swim with a waterproof cast? She’s going to be so upset if she can’t swim.

I'm sorry for the timing of the broken arm! Yes, the characters will sign the case (bring colourful sharpies). I think swimming is more hit and miss, and even though they are "waterproof", swimming hasn't been really recommended in my experience. I see plastic bags and elastic bands in your future (that's what we used ... very successfully!)

There are some very good cast covers for swimming offered online these days--easy to use and more effective than plastic bags or garbage bags!
