My DDIL's mother has decided to join us on our trip. On the kids' date night, she asked if she and I could go for a girls night out. The only thing I could think of doing is hopping over to POR to see if Yehaa Bob is playing. I haven't seen him yet. What other suggestions do you guys have?
I'll meet you at the Rainbow Bridge.
What about strolling through World Showcase or Disney Springs. You could also do Trader Sam's at the Poly. We stopped by 2x in March both times on the outdoor terrace and it was very enjoyable. I am not sure how early you would be able to go out but I highly suggest the afternoon tea at the GF. It was amazing.

Hoop-De-Do Review? Can't remember if that was part of this trip already.
There's a great big beautiful tomorrow!
We are going to Hoop Dee Doo as a whole group. I have always thought about doing the afternoon tea. It probably isn't her "cup of tea", but maybe I'll try it myself.

I would plan a night to wander around the World Showcase to shop and try beverages/ snacks, especially from countries that may not be of interest to other members of your group. (For me, that would probably include stops in Italy, France, and Germany.)

I'm always late. In fact, the only reason I'm still alive is that I was working overtime and wound up being late to my own death.

This sounds like a great night, except I would need someone to carry me after having a drink at each country. Hmmm, I wonder if she is strong enough.

Yeah, you'd never make it, miss half a glass of merlot and I'm out.
Might ready for a puking rally!

I don't puke, but I also can't walk a straight line. (Come to think of it, I can't walk a straight line when I'm sober either. :P) I love everyone in the world complete with giving them hugs and telling them how beautiful they and everything around them are. I also don't tell myself that I shouldn't do those things that I think would be fun - like attempting car surfing on top of a moving vehicle. Then I get to the point where I am so relaxed I don't even want to get up and move even if I could. Probably all stuff DDIL's mom doesn't want to have to deal with. lol

Sounds like a great plan, if you can handle it to start with. BUT, during Food & Wine, it would be daunting even for someone who considers themselves 'a drinker'.....All those extra stands...
BUT...it would be fun trying!! :marg:  :wine: :chef:

Just be warned that I can't carry you. . . maybe drag you from World Showcase to the front of Epcot where the buses are, then bump your head onto each step to get on and off the bus and then drag you across Pop Century. :P

Trader Sam's at Poly is pretty awesome. I also like Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar for an "adult" venue. Or hide out at the Cava de Tequila at the Mexico Pavilion? Or Rose & Crown has a patio? If you want to be fancy a drink at the bar at California Grill? Or Mizner's Lounge at GF? Sooo many good options!
