On all my previous family trips, my family totaled 6. There will be 8 in my family and 3 in my friend's group. I am not sure how to fairly divide my time. Has anyone else used it in a large group before that could give me tips?
The family breaks down to
DS28 and his DW
DS26 and his DW
DD24, her DH and her 2 year old daughter
DF and his 3 year old daughter and 6 year old son.

I'll meet you at the Rainbow Bridge.

Officially it's the DAS person +5. You may be able to get your full party of 11 linked (would need to be approved by a supervisor) but getting return times may still be set at 6 depending on the ride, CM, etc. Because your party is largely adults I probably would hope for it but not count on it.

To be honest, I am not sure I want to be dragging 11 people around with me all day. I love my kids, but that would be exhausting. I just can't figure out how to fairly divide up my time. For example, we usually do Big Thunder Mountain as a family. I won't be able to get all of us on at the same time (I'm actually going to try to get a fastpass for it. This is just for illustration purposes.), so do I ride it three times? I love Big Thunder, but that would eat up a lot of time.

I'm just wondering if anyone has done it and has any ideas outside of the box besides me saying "I'm riding this with your brother, but I'll ride something else with you," and making someone feel badly.

You ever go to lunch w/ people from work? Its hard enough to get 4 people to decide where to eat, in places you can go to all the time. 11 at Disney? Forget about it. Split it up, meet for some... group activities. Maybe alternate who is in what group on each day. Change the queen's court each day.

Spend the morning with the people who have the small children. Then in the afternoon when the kids are tired and screaming "oh look at the time. I gotta go meet the others somewhere far away on the other side of the park." Smile

ROFL. I'm glad you guys understand. I'm sure my daughter would disagree with the plan.

Do y'all always finish each other's jokes? Yes, I remember this one -- Bill Cosby (before he was a taboo subject!) [Remember: 'Chocolate cake for breakfast' or '200 miles per hour...']

Dad is great! Give us the chocolate cake!

Maybe Texas and I are really twins separated at birth.
