I may not be nearly as motivated to figure it out as I was the ringtones. There's always taxis sitting right outside of the resort if we need them.

All we did was download the Lift app. Then we could call for a van when we were paying for dinner. By the time we walked to the door it was pulling in. We could follow where it was on the app

Yeah, I'm good w/ taxis. I'm not an Uber/Lyft fan.

We did taxis instead of Minnie Vans because they were so much cheaper (except to MK then the price was closer and the drop off made it worth it.) Don't get me wrong- the MVs were a better experience overall (brand new and clean and friendlier driver) but $25 vs $11-15 was just too much difference for this frugal traveler 
So if your motivation doesn't show up at least you will save some money ;)
