What would be the fastest way to get to Ohana?

Agreed. If you don't wait long for the boat, the boat is probably the fastest but if you just missed the boat, probably the monorail. Very close... If the weather was nice, I'd boat. If rainy or very windy, monorail.

Definitely the boat. If you've never been over to the Poly via water taxi just make double sure which line you are queuing in and obviously do not get on anything going to the transportation center. That would dramatically impact your arrival time at Ohana's.
I'm sure you already know this, but more times than I can count we've been waiting for our boat and talking to families next to us and they make a comment about where they're headed and I've had to tell them they're in the wrong area and direct them to the proper one.

Hmm. I was going to say Monorail since the boat also stops at the GF on the way to the poly. Would be a good race to see who could get to Ohana first. My guess is that if a boat is pulling up or ready to leave it would be a challenge. That being said, going via boat, I have waited a while on occasion not only for the boat but for it then to leave.

Maybe for ICOT 20 we should have an amazing race INTERCOT style 😉

Personally, I'd take the highway in the sky...

I take the boat, whenever possible. A race might be interesting. There are any number of times when I've sat on the monorail, either in a station, or in between stations waiting for traffic ahead to clear.

Depending on the time of day, I have also had to wait for multiple boats 😊

I think it really is close time wise.

That is a hard one. In theory the monorail should be faster even with the stops but the last time I took it in January, it took 40 minutes to get from MK to the Polynesian due to a problem with one of the monorails. On a normal day it usually takes 15-20 depending how long they wait at the Contemporary and the TTC.

I would go with whichever was there when you were leaving but I'd also leave 45 minutes. I've gotten burned too many times trying to get out of MK.

No one has mentioned this yet but it is a very short walk from the TTC to the Polynesian Village via its own walkway. Therefore you could take the express monorail or even the ferry if either were there ready to depart.

I like the idea of a INTERCOT race.

Holy moly... Can't believe I didn't mention that but it is a little walk from the TTC over.... Still good idea!

Can't believe I didn't mention it either as we've taken that walk quite a number of times.
