Currently, we have a week-long stay booked at CR in February. Depending on what discounts are released, my husband is trying to talk me into staying off-site for the first half of the trip. If we do, it will be a last minute (like at 31-days out, lol) change. So, ADRs and FP+ will already be booked. I know that changing/shortening my resort stay won't effect my ADRs, but what about FP+ ressies? Will they remain intact as well?

I got the answer to my question. If anyone is interested in doing something similar. Apparently, Disney is making it much more difficult to shorten and/or partially cancel reservations. Not only would I lose my booked FP+ ressies for the first half of my trip, but I would also have to change my 8-day tickets to 2 4-day tickets, which as u know, would cost a lot more for a family of 4. I could always purchase tickets separately, but then wouldn't be able to make FP selections until 30-days out. And that's all IF there is still availability at my resort of choice! Yet, another reason to use Magical Journeys!!! I would have really screwed myself up if I had tried to just do this myself.

Sorry we weren't able to provide an answer for you. Thanks for doing the research. I'm sure your post will be helpful to many other intercotees!!

Things are changing so quickly at Disney, it's really hard to keep up with all the changes and the new rules!!
